i still catch myself almost saying your name out loud when something funny happens. the habit never really left. last tuesday the coffee machine at work made that weird grinding noise you used to joke about and i turned to tell you, then remembered you weren't there. it was such a small second but it sat with me the whole day. i hope whatever city you're in now has better coffee machines. or at least someone who laughs at the same dumb things.
